New Delhi: After 32 cities across the world, Balcony TV is here in India to provide a platform to independent musicians and singers. From a fusion of Indian classical to Delh's very own Reggae Raja's, it is a musical rhapsody.
Pragya, Kavi and Rishi are three freelance writers who jam together every month to produce Balcony TV Delhi.
They shortlist singers with original scores, shoot with them and upload their videos on Balcony TV's international website.
Pragya Tiwari says, "The idea is to get as much variety as we can can and showcase the indie sound on an international platform. So we shoot with the bands over a balcony giving the audience a look of the city we are in.
A shoestring budget is no dampener. The gang is gung-ho about introducing as many as 50 bands to an international audience by next year.
