Bangalore: A 19-year-old girl was allegedly gangraped by three unidentified men in Bangalore. The girl was on her way to catch a bus in the night, when the men attacked her and dragged her into some bushes near the Lingarajapuram flyover.
The teenager was repeatedly raped and beaten when she resisted. Police have registered a case and the girl has been sent for a medical examination. The survivor claimed that she had seen one of the rapists near her house earlier.
Additional Commissioner Of Police (Law and Order) Bangalore Sunil Kumar said, "We have lodged an FIR and we will soon catch the culprits. We are waiting for the medical report."
