Bangalore: A middle-aged couple from Uttar Pradesh were found murdered in their residence-cum-hotel in the busy Balepet area of Bangalore on Wednesday.
Their seven-year-old daughter, who reportedly witnessed the murder, was also attacked in the incident and is now battling for her life in a government hospital.
Pankaj and Babita hailed from Agra and ran a small eatery in Bangalore. Police said the couple was fatally attacked with iron rods on Tuesday night.

A youth from Assam employed by the couple in the eatery has been absconding since the murder, said police adding that efforts are on to trace him.
