Bangalore party raid: 101 detainees granted bail

Bangalore: A private party inside a farmhouse on the outskirts of Bangalore has kicked up a controversy. Police raided the place on Sunday but failed to find any drugs. However, on Monday all detainees were granted bail by a local court in Bangalore.

Around 101 people including 37 foreigners have been booked under Article 245 and Karnataka Excise Act.

These youngsters have been booked for hosting a party without permission and also for obscene dancing.

They had gone to a farmhouse party to have fun on a Saturday night. Sources say that the party was organised by an individual at his farm house located near Dodda Aladamara, one of the popular picnic destination of Bangalore.

Police say that the organiser hadn't taken permission before organising the party.

“We are examining their antecedents and addresses. Most of these are students studying in various colleges in Bangalore,” adds Deputy SP.
