New Delhi: There has been a dramatic twist to the alleged rape case of a 26-year old woman.
The Delhi-based woman – who on Thursday alleged she was raped by a taxi driver and his accomplice – has gone missing, just two days after filing a police complaint.
Police believe she may have boarded a flight back to Delhi. According to reports, several of city's “high-profile” people were involved in the case.
The son-in-law of a powerful politician from Andhra Pradesh had reportedly brought the woman to Bangalore to “entertain” his friends.
But in her complaint to the police, she had had said that a taxi driver helped her rent a room at a service apartment when she arrived in the city on December 5.
She claimed she was kept in captivity and that the men took her photographs in the nude after allegedly drugging her.
