Bangalore: The Bangalore police are on the lookout for a woman, who is absconding, after allegedly ramming her car into a footpath killing one and injuring three others. The incident took place on Saturday night.

The police say that the woman was still learning to drive and allegedly lost control of the vehicle. Eyewitnesses have identified her as the wife of a priest who serves in a local temple.

The victims of the hit-and-run were all construction workers. "We were just returning home when her car hit us. Our friend was lying dead on the spot, but she didn't even bother to get off and come to help. She was calling up somebody over the phone," said one of the injured victims.
