Barcelona: Barcelona and Brazilian defender Dani Alves believes Pep Guardiola left the club because the players were no longer responding to him as he had wished. In his four years with Catalans, Guardiola quickly became arguably the most successful coach to have ever managed them.
But, at the end of last season he stunned the football fraternity by stepping down, and Alves Felt that the reason was he and his fellow team-mates. "Pep said that he would only leave when we were no longer responding to him," Alves told Le Buteur. "We did not respond to him on the field as he would have liked and this is why the players feel responsible for his departure."
Guardiola has reportedly also told his close friends that he favours a move to Chelsea when he makes his return to management. The 41-year-old wishes to return to management next season, and according to the reports is also keen to manage the European champions.

During his four-year stay at the Nou Camp, Pep Guardioloa delivered three La Liga titles and two European Cups.
