'Barfi' is India's entry for Oscars in Foreign Language Film category

New Delhi: 'Barfi' has been nominated as India's entry in the category of Best Foreign Language Film at the Oscars this year.

The Ranbir Kapoor and Priyanka Chopra starrer is a moving tale about a hearing and speech-impaired boy and a girl with autism.

The film, directed by Anurag Basu and starring Ranbir Kapoor and Priyanka Chopra in the lead roles has a sensible approach towards differently abled people.

The Ranbir Kapoor and Priyanka Chopra starrer is a moving tale about a hearing and speech-impaired boy and a girl with autism.

The movie which released on September 14, was made at a budget of Rs 30 crore. It minted Rs 34.6 crore during the weekend, and amassed a total of Rs 58.6 crore over the week.
