BANGALORE: Days after the verbal duel between the representatives of religious mutts at a Kunchitigas’ convention, Chairman of Karnataka State Human Rights Commission (KSHRC) Justice S R Nayak called upon the seers to become ‘Vishwamanavas’.
Speaking at a convention of Human Rights organised  by the National Human Rights Service on Tuesday, Nayak lamented, “The Swamijis forget that fact that they belong to human community first.”
“All of us should become Vishwamanavas as told by national poet Kuvempu,” Nayak added.
Urging the youths to change, Nayak said, “By 2020, about 25 percent of youths in the world will be from India. They will have the power to decide the fate of the nation. In that respect, the youths should change.”
