Krishnagar: The son of a West Bengal minister was admitted to hospital with burn injuries after he tried to commit suicide on Sunday by setting himself ablaze.
Sayan Biswas (22), son of Horticulture and Food Processing Minister Ujjal Biswas, was taken to the Krishnagar Shaktinagar District Hospital from where he was referred to the Apollo Hospital in Kolkata, ASP (Nadia district) Arindam Dutta-Chowdhury said.
Reason behind his step is not yet known, he added.
