Chennai: Benoit Paire and Stanislas Wawrinka easily won the doubles title defeating Germans Andre Begemann and Martin Emmerich 6-2, 6-1, in a rather disappointing 56-minute final of the Chennai Open tennis tournament here Sunday.
The victory, their first, was worth $23,950 and 250 ATP ranking points while the Germans picked up $12,590 and 150 points.
The result - Doubles (final): Benoit Paire (FRA)/Stanislas Wawrinka (SUI) bt Andre Begemann/Martin Emmerich (GER) 6-2, 6-1.
