Yasmeen Shaikh filed an appeal saying she was lured into giving false testimony against the 17 accused by social activist Teesta Setalvad.

The court might rule either way: quash their conviction or uphold it.

Yasmeen, who was the prime witness in the Best Bakery case in Vadodara in 2002 where 14 persons were killed, had sought for her evidence to be recorded again at the stage of appeal.
