And if the satta odds are any indication, then Chief Minister Narendra Modi and the BJP are facing a stiffer fight they might have anticipated.
CK is a bookie in the illegal betting syndicate. He says that illegal but organised betting on politics is the only next to betting on cricket.
And in nearly 10,000 bets have been placed from across the country for the upcoming Gujarat elections.
To place a bet, a bookie like CK can be called and you can be in.
"Right now the bets that are being offered are a bet on 90,100 or 110 seats for the BJP or 60, 70 or 8-0 seats for the Congress these are six categories that you can bet on,” says CK.
One week is a long time in politics and so the bets constantly change, CK says.
Five days ago if you bet on BJP getting 90 seats the profit was 15 paisa, but today the same bet earns 32 paisa per rupee.
It means that the betting syndicate feels the odds against the BJP have increased and hence the greater the risk then greater the returns.
Five days ago a 100 seats for the BJP meant 45 paise for a rupee and now today it is priced at 80 paise.
And 110 seats meant 95 paise, but today it is priced at Rs 1 and 80 paise for every rupee.
CK says Sonia Gandhi's campaign has been good for the Congress.
For the Congress a week ago, a bet for 70 seats earned Rs 1 and 40 paise per rupee but today it is 55 paise per rupee.
If you would place a bet for 80 seats a week ago then the rupee earned three rupees fifty paise today it will only earn one rupee fifty paise, which only means that the syndicate feels the risk in investing in Congress has reduced since a week ago.
"The minimum bet amount is Rs 5,000 to 10,0000 people bet up to Rs five lakhs or 10 lakhs on this elections and the bets come from across India," says CK.
Politicians too place bets and CK says that some Congressmen have bet on the BJP and some BJP men on the Congress.
It is illegal but it is rampant, while the betting world feels the odds against the BJP have increased, Modi to them still has greater chances for winning and that's why a bet on the Congress still earns more than a bet on the BJP.
So with few days to go the bets will continue to change.
