London: Pop superstar Beyonce Knowles has celebrated her 31st birthday with a cruise off the south of France with husband Jay-Z and their daughter Blue Ivy. Jay Z, 42, ensured his wife had a birthday to remember by taking her on a luxury yacht for a cruise through the Mediterranean, reported Daily Star.
After a day at sea the couple then stopped for a birthday dinner at Michelangelo restaurant in Cap d'Antibes. Meanwhile back home, friends and family of the singer signed a special card which was then published on her website.
"God blessed me with one of the greatest gifts in my life on September 4, 1981. Happy birthday," Tina, her mother, wrote. Jay-Z's mother Gloria Carter also sent a message, writing, "B, You came into my life a sweet Southern girl. (LOL) You've blossomed into an amazing woman. I admire how you remain grounded and humble, and you haven't let success change the person that you are. Mama Carter (sic)."
