New Delhi: There is more embarrassment for the Ashok Gehlot Government in the Bhanwari Devi case as the Rajasthan High Court has pulled up the Congress government for the slow pace of investigation into the case of the missing nurse.

The court has also questioned the CBI probe into the alleged abduction and possible murder of the nurse.

It has now directed the police to submit a daily report.

Bhanwari Devi went missing from the Bilara area of Jodhpur on September 1. Police fear that she may be dead but her husband Amar Chand has claimed that she was abducted at the behest of Rajasthan Water Resources Minister Mahipal Maderna.
