Bhojpuri films needs encouragement: Amitabh Bachchan

Amitabh Bachchan and his wife Jaya will be seen together in his makeup man-turned-producer Deepak Sawant's film.

This is Amitabh Bachchan's third Bhojpuri film. His earlier two film 'Ganga' and 'Gangotri' did well at the box office.

Amitabh plays a key role in the film and says, "Deepak is like family and when he approached me for this film, I did this film without any hesitation. I know him now for 30 to 35 years."

Amitabh was also spotted at the music launch of the film. He also plans to promote the film close to its release.

'Ganga Devi' will hit the screens on September 14, 2012.

Apart from Amitabh and Jaya, it also features Dineshlal Yadav 'Nirahua', Pakhi Hegde, Girish Sharma, Awadhesh Mishra and Vinay Bihari.

Produced by Deepak Sawant, Abhishek Chaddha is the director of the film.

For Amitabh and Jaya's convenience, the makers shot 30-35 scenes in just one day.

Amitabh Bachchan says there is lot of restrictions when your wife is on the sets and he gets conscious in her presence.

During a press conference lately, he said, "When your wife is on the sets with you, then your behaviour also changes, there are lots of restrictions, there is always a discipline on the sets or else when you go back home, the situation goes out of control."
