Bhopal: Three students drowned in Bhopal's Upper Lake on Saturday.
They had gone to the lake to bathe when one of the students started drowning. Seeing him sinking into the water, the other two students also jumped in the lake. But instead of saving him they drowned as well.
"We were roaming around here. He came here to bathe. We tried to save him but couldn't," said Amardeep, the deceased's friend.
Police say that none of the boys knew how to swim. The bodies have been recovered and sent for a post-mortem.
