Bhupathi-Mirnyi pair lose in Valencia finals

Valencia: A title win continued to elude Mahesh Bhupathi and Max Mirnyi as they lost the Valencia Open final to Andy and Jamie Murray of Britain.

The third seeded Indo-Belarusian pair lost the summit clash 6-7 (8) 7-5 7-10 to the wild card pair.

It's for the fourth time in the season that Bhupathi and Mirnyi have lost a title clash.

Mahesh Bhupathi and Max Mirnyi lost the Valencia Open final to Andy and Jamie Murray of Britain.

They ended runners-up at the ATP World Tour Masters 1000 tournaments in Miami, Monte-Carlo and Cincinnati earlier in the season.

Bhupathi and Mirnyi are trying to grab one of the four spots available in the season-ending World Tour Finals in London.

Top eight singles players and pairs compete in the prestigious tournament.
