Actor Amitabh Bachchan was taken to the Nanavati Hospital in Mumbai following abdominal pain due to incisional hernia. He was then shifted to the Lilavati Hospital after a preliminary medical check up.
In a statement issued to the media on Sunday the hospital authorities said that the actor is recovering well and the tests performed did not suggest any abnormality
“The doctors attending on Amitabh Bachchan are happy with his progress. Whatever tests have been conducted, the results show no abnormality. Amitabh Bachchan is fine,” says Mohan Rajan, Spokesperson, Lilavati Hospital
Amitabh's family members have been by side during his stay at the hospital. The actor is expected to be discharged within few days.
