His power-house performance in the film is earning him rave reviews and we asked his real-life guru, superstar Amitabh Bachchan how it feels?
“The kind of praise Abhishek is getting for Guru is unprecedented. As his father, I am very proud that his work is being appreciated. The film is beautiful. Mani Ratnam has made a wonderful film and Abhishek was very good in it,” he says.
Now that Guru has catapulted Abhishek Bachchan to the top league of actors, he must be professionally a contented man but what about matters of the heart? Is Aishwarya Rai readying to become the future become Mrs Bachchan?
“Well, she has not said anything to us as yet. Till she does that, we will not believe it,” says Bachchan. Well, let the speculations go on.
