Bihar Police arrest 3 for smuggling human skulls

Chapra (Bihar): There's been a scary find at Chapra in Bihar. Police have recovered nearly 30 skulls and many human bones from a bus there.

The driver and the cleaner of the private bus are among three people who have been arrested.

The skeletons were packed in two airbags and kept in the rear of the bus, which was on its way to Siliguri in West Bengal from Chapra.

It seems that the 27 skulls — of children — and over 100 human bones were being smuggled to Siliguri.

Superintendent of Police Sanjay Kumar said that police, acting on a tip-off, stopped the bus going to Siliguri from Chapra at Dighwara block office and seized the skulls and bones kept in sacks.

Kumar suspects that an organised gang might be running the illegal business of smuggling human bones.
