THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The polygraph test on Biju Salim, the chief accused in the e-mail snooping case, which was scheduled to be performed on Friday has been postponed. Officials sources cited ‘technical reasons’ for the postponement.
The Crime Branch had taken Biju to the Forensics Science Lab here, but returned. The new date has not been decided.
The Chief Judicial Magistrate court had on Thursday permitted the Crime Branch to conduct the polygraph test.
Biju had also given his consent. Biju, an SI with the police Hi-tech Crime Enquiry Cell, is under suspension.
