Bikaner: In a shocking case of cruelty against a child, some goons in Nokha in Bikaner attacked a four-year-old girl to get even with her whistleblower uncle. The kid was thrown against a wall suffering damage to her nervous system.

The uncle of the child had tried to expose irregularities in the Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Scheme (MNREGA).

The doctors have told the parents of the child that her nervous system has suffered irreparable damage. The victim cannot walk, speak or recognise her parents.

Despite repeated complaints, there has been no action against the accused yet.
