While the film stars use award functions to endorse their movies and songs, performing on stage at these big functions is an easy way to make some quick moolah, says Bengali bombshell Bipasha Basu.
"I respect all the award functions and also at the end of day we earn a lot of money. We perform and get to reach out to millions of people through television and the stage," said Bipasha Basu slogging it out hard for an awards show in Mumbai
And boy do these girls swear by rehearsals.
"I'm not an expert, I hope I don’t forget my steps on stage and I win an award as well," Bipasha added.
Item girl Koena Mitra who is famous for her sizzling performances said, "On stage there are no retakes. Once you make a mistake, since it’s a live show nobody can edit it. And you end up looking like a fool."
Well whatever be the reason for performing, there's no denying to the fact that a dose of dance jazzes up an event unlike anything else.
