Mumbai: On Friday night the gorgeous Bipasha Basu and the naive Neil Nitin Mukesh were spotted at enigma in Mumbai to promote their upcoming film Aa Dekhe Zara and stand by debutant music composer Gaurav Dasgupta, who remixed the title song of the film.
“It was difficult because to match up to the same energy, same style of singing, same attitude same charisma and match up with R D Barman's mouth percussions. We have added all this in the song and that's why the beginning porting of the song has me scatting and me going so all that's added into it,” says Neil.
The film is a romantic thriller about a photographer who has nothing going for him, until he inherits a camera from his grandfather, which has extra ordinary powers to foresee the future. Bipasha plays the role of DJ in this one.
“She is a DJ so the hair had to look spunky so we had the indigo kind of extensions on one side, which I still have. Hair was unkempt, not styled. She is a girl who travels a lot at late nights, so she would wear a lot of pants most of the time. She is tom boyish, so she wears ganjis loud colours, all different kinds of colours, she isn't very girly. So there is no matching, so all different kind of wild colours with sneakers, so that was a kind of a spunky look,” says Bipasha.
“I am playing a guy called Riyacharya in the film . He is a photographer.. he inherits this camera which has an X element, which has a power and how his life changes with the power. Most of the people say when you get power most of our problems get solved but Riyacharya doesn't realise that trying to solve his problems with that power he is actually creating more problems for himself,” adds Neil.
Earlier, titled Freeze, Aa Dekhen Zara directed by Jehangir Surti is all set for a March 27 release.
