Bhubaneswar: Rape convict Bitti Mohanty's father BB Mohanty spoke exclusively to CNN-IBN saying he will co-operate with the Kerala police. "I will co-operate with the Kerala police. Since the matter is subjudice I will not comment on the case. If Italan marines have refused to speak to the media, why should I? Media is sensationalizing the case," he said.

The Kerala police is expected to interrogate former Odisha top cop BB Mohanty on Friday. The Kerala police team will also visit Bitti's school and college in an effort to conclusively establish his identity.

Bitty was arrested after he was found to be working in a Kerala bank under a false name. He had secured the position and even an MBA degree allegedly using false certificates.

The Kerala team probing the case will reach Bhubaneshwar on Thursday night. A team of police investigators will arrive in Rajasthan on Thursday with Bitti. Bitti's fingerprints will be matched with those on record in the German tourist's case.
