New Delhi: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is now completely in support of all the saffronites who are being investigated by the ATS, particularly Sadhvi Pragya Singh Thakur.

BJP spokesperson Ravishankar Prasad said that the the term ‘Hindu terrorism’ was first coined by Digvijay Singh of congress during the Gujarat elections.

He reiterates that the investigations in Malegaon case with regard to the sadhvi are sponsored and asks as to why human rights organisations are quiet on Pragya Thakur after her affidavit.

Meanwhile, Maharashtra home minister R R Patil's party, the NCP, has accused the BJP of trying to derail the investigations.

Citing Abhinav Bharat chief Himani Savarkar's controversial 'bullet for bullet, blast for blast' statement, it further sought the arrest of the outfit's officebearers.

Patil says, “We demand that all officebearers of Abhinav Bharat and the organisation itself should be investigated. Himani Sawarkar has proved that Abhinav Bharat's is a supporter of Hindu extremism.”
