Indore: The three-day national conclave of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) beings in Indore from Wednesday.

While the top BJP leaders will discuss the future strategy of the party after its humiliating defeat in 2009 Lok Sbaha elections, the focus of the party under its newly elected President Nitin Gadkari seems to be austerity.

Over 5,000 delegates are coming for the conclave and will be living in tents for the party's three-day annual event.

But the tents for the 5,000 delegates, including top leaders like LK Advani, attending the national conclave have luxury facilities.

More than 1,300 of them have been set up at conclave venue in Kushabhau Thakre Nagar, out of which 25 VVIP tents are for the senior most leaders.

All the 25 tents are air-conditioned with double beds, sofa, dressing table, personal computer and even solar panels for providing hot water.

But due to terror threat the party is also thinking of lodging senior leaders including Advani, Narendra Modi, and former president Rajnath Singh in hotels instead of tents.

But host and Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan says there is nothing to worry even if they stay in tents

"There is no need to worry we have made proper security arrangements," said Chauhan.

New President Nitin Gadkari will present his new strategy for the future. focusing on austerity at the conclave.

Ever since the party lost the last general Elections, its leaders have been sending message to cadres that they are shunning five-star culture and going back to the basic.
