Bhopal: At least one BJP activist was injured in Bhopal during the 101 gun salute given by followers of Madhya Pradesh BJP leader and the newly appointed party national general secretary Narendra Singh Tomar.
Tomar, who was the state BJP chief was greeted with 101 gun salute on being appointed for the post. This act clearly violates the law.
What is more shocking is that the incident took place in the very presence of police and district officials who were there during the controversial ceremony. Most of the arms used in the ceremony are illegal.
It was Muraina MP Tomar's first visit to Shivpuri after he was made the party general secretary.
