Bhopal: Bharatiya Janata Party was leading in 12 seats while Congress managed to establish its lead in four seats after the initial trend for the 29 Parliamentary seats in Madhya Pradesh.
Senior Congress leader Kamal Nath and senior Bharatiya Janata Party leader Sushma Swaraj were leading by a huge margin over their nearest rivals in Chhindwara and Vidisha seats respectively.
BJP state President Narendra Singh Tomar was leading from Morena seat while Congress' candidate from Mandsaur seat Meenakshi Natarajan established a lead over his nearest rival BJP's senior leader Laxmi Naryan Pandey.
The BJP had 25 seats and the Congress bagged only four seats in the 29 Parliamentary seats in the 2004 elections.
