New Delhi: BJP on Monday released its list of seven candidates for Lok Sabha seats in Assam.
The list of the party, which is in alliance with Asom Gana Parishad in the state, includes Sudanshu Das (Karimganj-SC), Kabindrapurkayasth (Silchar), Kulendra Doulagapu (Autonomous District-ST), Bijoya Chakraborty (Guwahati), Ramen Deka (Mangaldoi), Rajan Gohain (Nowgong) and Kamakhya Prasad Tasa (Jorhat).
As per the saffron party's arrangement with the AGP, BJP would fight eight seats while the rest of the six seats would be fought by AGP.
BJP is yet to announce the name of its candidate for the Dhubri seat.
