BJP won't indulge in horse-trading to form govt in Delhi: Gadkari

New Delhi: Its so near yet so far for the Bharatiya Janata Party as the party just fall short of four seats to claim majority in Delhi. The BJP won 32 seats out of 70 in the national capital. The party's Delhi in-charge Nitin Gadkari said, "The party is mentally prepared to sit in Opposition and will not indulge in horse-trading."

Gadkari said, "We have shortage of 4 MLAs and now options are not open with us. We have faith in democracy and we do not want to purchase any MLA."

Gadkari added, "When Atal Bihari Vajpayee was the prime minister, he lost by one vote but the party did not purchase any MP (to save the government)."

BJP's Delhi in-charge Nitin Gadkari said the party will sit in Opposition but won't purchase any MLA.

On Aam Aadmi Party national convener Arvind Kejriwal claim that some BJP leaders approached him, Gadkari said, "Kejriwal should disclose the name of the BJP leaders who approached him."

He said the party will held a meeting tomorrow to discuss the issue of government formation is Delhi. He said. "All issues about government formation will be discussed in the meeting of newly elected MLAs tomorrow."
