New Delhi: After the regular anti-price rise protests, the opposition BJP is getting innovative in taking on the Government.
So BJP yuva morcha workers will soon double up as TV reporters representing Mehangai TV, a documentary on inflation and its effects on the aam aadmi.
The “reporters” will move about in a TV van and interact with over 3,000 households in Delhi on how the price rise has hurt them.
They will then cut a CD documenting of their efforts and send it to Congress president Sonia Gandhi and PM Manmohan Singh.
"This is a new way for public opinion to reach the ears of the government," says BJP President Rajnath Singh.
The BJP expects the CD will be ready by the April 25 and the party leadership is of the opinion satire can be more effective than any other method.
That’s not all. The BJP has some more surprises up its sleeve. "We will also be setting up a Manmohan Bank," says BJP Youth Morcha Chief Amit Thakker.
