Mumbai: The Mumbai Marathon is just a day away and Japan's Yuichi Takahashi is getting ready to take part in it.

He does not have the ability to see, but he does have the determination to overcome this physical challenge, run and even to win Olympic medals.

Takahashi is in Mumbai for the upcoming marathon- but he took some time out to give running lessons to some special children.

The participants of the Mumbai Marathon will see a Jackie Chan lookalike running amongst them this yea.

However, Yuichi Takahashi is a hero in his own right. Having lost his eyesight in 1996, Takahashi decided not to abandon his passion for running and went on to represent Japan in the Beijing Paralympics but his sense of humour, belies his struggle.

As long as you have a pair of shoes you can run..I didn't have much money at that time, so I thought I'll go for marathons!!
