B'lore: Raped by father's friend, 4-year-old baby admitted to hospital with bite marks

Bangalore: In a shocking incident, a four-year-old girl was allegedly raped by her father's friend in Bangalore. The child was admitted to a hospital with bite marks and other injuries. The police said that the accused brought the child to the hospital claiming she was injured while playing but the injury marks made the doctors suspicious who informed authorities.

Police say the accused sent the child's father on an errand, promising to take care of her as the mother too was out of town. The medical report of the child is awaited.

Child helpline coordinator Jennifer Y giving more details on the young victim said, "The child has injuries like bite marks, fracture in the leg and other wounds can also be seen on her. We suspect since the abuser knew the child for two years, it's possible he has abused her before."

The police said that the accused brought the child to the hospital claiming she was injured while playing.
