Bangalore school teacher accused of sexually abusing students

New Delhi: A teacher at a private school in Bangalore has been accused of sexually abusing several of his female students.

The Hindi teacher who began teaching just a month ago, is accused of passing lewd remarks at class IX students and physically abusing them. The victims allege he threatened to fail them in their exams if they revealed his conduct.

The incident came to light after two of the victims refused to go to school and their parents made enquiries. A police case has been registered.

DCP, Bangalore West SN Siddaramappa said, "The accused is absconding but will be arrested soon."
