New Delhi: The Blueline buses continue to kill on Delhi roads. On Thursday night, a bus ran over three people in Rohini in West Delhi.
One person was killed on the spot, while two others have been seriously injured. They have been admitted to a local hospital.
Eyewitnesses say the bus was overtaking vehicles dangerously. A case of rash and negligent driving has been registered against the driver.
After the accident, angry passersby tried to burn the bus. The mob smashed the window panes of a DTC bus close by.
Police say the situation is under control now.
With this accident a total of 99 people have been crushed under Blueline buses this year.
