Hyderabad: The search for the 34 missing Greyhounds personnel from Andhra Pradesh is going on at full swing and on Tuesday bodies of two dead elite force personnel were fished out of the Balimela Reservoir in Alampekka village of Orissa's Malkangiri district. The search for the 32 still missing is going on with the help of Navy divers.
The police fear that the missing men could have been captured by the Naxals.
The Andhra Pradesh government has confirmed that the Naxals used rocket launchers in the attack and even though the Greyhounds retaliated, but their boat took the hit and capsized.
Andhra has blamed Orissa for not giving adequate security to the personnel.
Andhra Pradesh Home Minister K Jana Reddy has promised swift action against the Naxals and said he's even prepared for peace talks.
"If the media can reason with the Naxals and bring them to the negotiation table, the govt is ready to hold peace talks with them. The media can even mediate the talks between us," Reddy said.
