Abbas Ali’s friend Prithviraj (Ajay Devgn) finds out that the village people would retaliate if they were to find out that a muslim entered the temple. In order to cover up the incident, Prithviraj comes up with a lie.

What follows is a series of lies to cover up one lie. Abbas Ali has to resort to faking two identities, one with a moustache and one without, just like in the 1979 comedy 'Golmaal'.

Prachi Desai plays the role of Prithviraj’s (Ajay Devgn) sister and also Abbas Ali’s (Abhishek Bachchan) love interest while Sania (Asin) is paired up with Prithviraj (Ajay Devgn).
