From Delhi 6, Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra has now moved to Punjab, Danny Boyle will be back in Mumbai soon with more than two films and Sanjay Dutt has a new trick to claim the Dutt legacy.
Sanjay Dutt missed out the chance to contest elections but it seems he is not willing to give up the Dutt legacy. The actor is getting his parents name tattoed on his body. His mother Nargis' name will be tattooed in Urdu while father Sunil Dutt's name will be in Devnagari. The tattoos will be made at Mumbai's popular Hakim Aalim's saloon. Aalim has already tattooed Sanju baba's arms before. Now, only if Dutt junior could learm from his sister Priya Dutt and understand that in politics, tattoos dont matter. It's the work that counts.
Despite the debacle of Delhi 6, filmmaker Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra has chosen to cast the same lead pair of Abhishek Bachchan and Sonam Kapoor in his next film. Based on the legendary tragic love story of Mirza-Sahibaan, the film will be a costume drama set in Punjab. We hope Mehra doesn't lose the plot this time.
DANNY A PRODUCER?
First it was Shekhar Kapur's Paani and now it seems Anurag Kashyap too has found a producer in Danny Boyle. The man behind Slumdog Millionaire is reportedly to have been backing Anurag's big budget dream project on Mumbai. Danny has also bought the rights of Suketu Mehta's book Maximum City. At this rate, it won't be surprising if Danny ends up making a version of Mumbai J'tame with half a dozen stories set in the same city!
