Azam, Amar spat over Jaya gets worse

CNN-IBN

New Delhi: Security has been tightened in Rampur in Uttar Pradesh which goes to the polls on Wednesday.

A day after Jaya Prada accused her party leader Azam Khan of distributing nude photographs, Khan has hit back.

“My nude, morphed pictures are being circulated, disgusting things are happening. I thought there is no point in living in this world,” said actor turned politician Jaya Prada.

It's a triangle straight out of a Bollywood flick and on the eve of polling day, the script of this drama set in Rampur took another nasty twist.

Jaya Prada's hotel was raided by the police. Jaya alleges that it is another attempt to harass her.

“It is the work of opposition; they are harassing my family and me. It's a plot by the Congress government. We are complaining to the Election Commission,” Jaya Prada alleged.

Dissident SP leader Azam Khan said, “The kind of allegations she is putting on me, they can be part of her Bollywood life. Her mentality has reached such a level that any condemnation is of no use. I appeal to the people to beware of the Jaya Prada, the way she has shown her character.”

Inducted into politics by SP leader Amar Singh and brought to Rampur by Azam Khan, Jaya Prada is the catalyst for a bitter fight for Rampur between Amar and Azam. The Congress party has smelt blood in the political waters of Rampur and has already begun reaching out to Azam Khan.
