Ms Punctual, Sushmita Sen showed up first, but didn't seem to be in a mood to pick up anything from the collection - all because this former Miss Universe seems to have gone on to size XL.
"I will not pick up anything from here because what you have here is not my size, but he will make it to my size. See that's the sheer joy of having a designer like Shaahid Amir," she said.
Besides Sushmita, the preview drew in Manisha Koirala, Fardeen Khan, Sohail Khan, Gul Panag and producer Vashu Bhagnani. Unlike Sushmita all of them where ready to grab a piece of Shahid's collection with a word of praise thrown in for the designer.
"Yes, I already like two or three things out of his collection," said actor Manisha Koirala.
"Usually Shahid doesn't design for women and as far as my knowledge goes he is designing for women after a long time. Personally I like the pret line. It's very glamorous and very wearable," added actor Gul Panag.
Actor Fardeen Khan stated, "He has got lot of style statement and definite attitude and his clothes reflect that. Be it jewellery or clothes - everything is flamboyant."
And while he was at it, Fardeen Khan also updated all and sundry about his film career.
"I was away for some months, but I have four to five releases lined up for next year. So I will be back with a bang," he said.
