The actress is now the face for a new clothing line from a leading supermarket chain and made her debut in the world of fashion by taking to the ramp in style. So was this a cakewalk for Asin?
"It wasn't a ramp walk, it was just a casual walk," says the confident actress.
The actress, who's also been signed on as a brand ambassador for a leading soft drink, surely isn't feeling the pinch of the economic slowdown.
"Except for Big Bazaar which is newly signed, I have other brands that have been renewed," she says.
But Asin's also been in the news for her alleged link up with Salman Khan. The two are currently shooting for Vipul Shah's London Dreams.
"We are together in a movie. Nothing more than that, nothing less than that," she clarifies.
Now that seems to be a slight improvement on the regular 'we're just good friends' line.
