Welcome Barbara Mori, Jaqueline Fernandes, Liza Lazarus & Florence - actresses and models from overseas who hope to make a mark in Bollywood in the coming year.
Mexican actress Barbara Mori will make a dream debut opposite Hrithik Roshan in Kites also starring Kangana Ranaut. Though Kangana may be director Anurag Basu's lucky mascot, the meatier role in the film goes to Mori. The Mexican hottie also gets to croon a Spanish number in the film.
"I know she is the one because she is so amazing," says Filmmaker, Anurag Basu.
Next on the list is Jaqueline Fernandes, this former Miss Sri Lanka who has already made a splash in the ad world, will soon be seen with the Big B & Riteish Deshmukh in Aladdin.
Besides this brunette we have a blonde beauty queen too who will be sharing screen space with Salman Khan. Liza Lazarus the current Miss UK will make her debut in Salman's Veer later this year.
And romancing yet another Khan on the silver screen is British actress Florence Brudenell-Bruce who will be seen opposite Saif Ali Khan in his home production Love Aaj Kal, co-starring Deepika Padukone and directed by Imtiaz Ali.
"It's got me, it's got Deepika Padukone and a pretty blond girl called Florence," says Saif Ali Khan.
With Bollywood markets expanding beyond desi shores, we will be seeing a lot more international faces in the film industry in the coming years.
So its time for the desi Bollywood brigade to face this foreign invasion of a different kind.
