Mumbai: It is Priyanka Chopra's turn to lend support to a cause. The top notcher had her parents in tow at an Alert India event to create awareness for leprosy.
The actress was seen swinging to singer Shaan's mellifluous voice but we couldn't help but notice her stark makeover. Sporting short hair with blue highlights, Priyanka looked completely different.
“I just wanted a different style for myself, the blue strands are for fun. No, I wasn't feeling blue, but for the first time I've got time between two movies. I have finished Pyaar Impossible, and I'm about to start Anjaana Anjaani. So I changed my look for myself,” says Priyanka.
Rumour has it that both Kareena and Katrina are in the fray for Dostana 2. But who would be the original desi girl's choice?
“If I had to tell you my pick for Dostana 2… I guess both Kareena and Katrina are extremely talented, so both would suit the role equally,” says Priyanka.
After a spate of back-to-back releases, Priyanka now awaits the completion of two of her big banner projects – director-producer Sajid Nadiadwala's Anjaana Anjaani to be directed by Siddharth Anand and Pyaar Impossible for Yashraj Films.
“Pyaar Impossible is a great movie. It's a story of a beauty and a geek, two quirky people coming together, and making a fun story. I love the music, and I'm really excited and nervous about this film,” she says.
Speaking about Anjaana Anjaani, she adds, “It is a love story between two strangers; one is stranger than the other, that's why the film is called Anjaana Anjaani. It's a totally unconventional love story between Ranbir and me, and that's what really interested me about the movie.”
Slated for a January 2010 release, Pyaar Impossible releases first.
