Beirut: Four people were killed and about 20 were injured in a bomb attack on a US embassy vehicle in the Lebanese capital on Tuesday.
None of the occupants of the car that was targeted were killed. But several other cars in the area were also damaged. Ambulances raced to the area and rushed the injured to hospitals.
The four men killed were locals. Lebanon has witnessed more than 30 blasts in the past three years, many targeting anti-Syrian politicians and journalists.
