After ‘Premalo Padithe’, here comes another film dubbed from Tamil. This one too has an interesting plot. The hero and heroine, played by Jai (of Journey fame) and Nandaki, have been in love with each other since as far as they remember. When the girl has to move to the city for her higher education, the boy takes an extraordinary step in desperation, fearing that he might never get to live with her. This hasty and unwise step of the boy shatters the heroine's family. Thereafter, the lovers experience trauma in their love. The rest of the film is about what happens in their lives hereafter.

Directed by Meera Kathiravan, the film is produced by Duraiswamy. The audio will be released soon. Vijay Antony is the music director, while dialogues are by Rajsekhar Reddy.

It has been a while since a dubbed film from Tamil registered BO success. ‘Veedinthe’, ‘Snehithudu’, ‘Malligadu’, ‘Eka Veera’, ‘3’ and ‘Premalo Padithe’ have all failed. It is to be seen if ‘Bommalata’ will reverse the trend.
