New Delhi: The Supreme Court on Wednesday permitted Boney Kapoor to release his movie 'Wanted' provided he deposits Rs 2 crores latest by September 18.
Boney Kapoor has come in appeal to the apex court against the order of Bombay High Court directing him to pay Rs 10 crores before releasing his movie Wanted.
The movie is scheduled to be released on September 18.
A bench headed by Justice B N Agarwal, however, permitted Boney Kapoor to release his movie subject to the payment of Rs 2 crore instead of Rs 10 crores which was the direction issued by the High Court.
