Chittagong: Fidel Edwards four-wicket haul powered Rangpur Tigers to 33-run victory over Khulna Royal Bengals in a low scoring match of Bangladesh Premier League on Tuesday.
Rangpur won the toss and opted to bat and could only manage to put up 122 on the board with all the top-order batsmen failing to score. Kevin O'Brien was the top-scorer with 24 runs while Khulna's Daniel Harris returned with 3 for 22.
The chase should have been rather easy for Khulna, but their batsmen didn't rise up to the occasion and crumbled at 89. For Rangpur, Edwards was the wrecker-in-chief and returned with impressive figures of 4 for 11, while Abdur Razzak claimed 3 for 21.
