New Delhi: A Gurgaon-based BPO's operations manager has been reportedly missing from his Ghaziabad home since June 18. According to Subhashish Mitra's wife, Arunima, the last time she saw him was leaving his home on June 18 to go for work. He has not returned home since.
Mitra apparently left for work in his Fiat Palio car, but according to office records, did not reach there on June 18. He has not been heard from since then.
The police suspect that there may be a love angle to the story for this is the third time Mitra has gone missing from his home ever since he has been married in the last five years.
Arunima, who has lodged a missing person complaint, has brushed aside this theory. However, she did tell the police that Mitra had taken many loans, whose installments he was finding difficult to pay.
The couple, who have a son, recently shifted to the posh Amrapali Apartments, in Vaishali Sector-3 in Ghaziabad.
